I enjoy using arbitrary rules and guidelines to push myself to explore new and interesting areas. One of the many ways to that I do this is to seek out peaks and high points. i.e. mountain tops (“peaks”, roughly speaking) and the highest rise in a given geographic area (“high point”, roughly speaking) both near where I live, and when I travel.
