Interesting Gers

As you may or may not know, about five years ago I converted to Judaism (in the reform tradition, if this is the kind of thing you care about). I converted for a complex and personal set of reasons having to do with spiritual growth, intellectual development, heritage, family, and love. During the process of conversion I became interested in others who have converted and started a project called interesting Gers. I’ve collected the installments in that series here.

Philosopher and professor, Martha Nussbaum

Author Jamaica Kincaid

Entertainer Sammy Davis Jr.
