Rem Koolhaas: Oma (Archipockets)
Aurora Cuito
I bought this little art book with a brief intro to Koolhaas’s ideas and buildings in the gift shop of his Seattle public library (which is still one of the most amazing building I have ever been in). It isn’t much of a book really, mainly picture from the library and some of OMA’s other projects. It provides little in the way of context for what Koolhaas and his studio OMA were are trying to do, but it does at least give you a sense of some of the more important buildings he created circa early 2000s. It’s a cheap place to start looking into Koolhaas’s work, but there are certainly better introductions out there.
