Diet Downfalls Part I

I am not so good at diets. Matter of fact, I don’t think most people aren’t very good with diets. I’m not interested in going on one because I know at this point that whatever my good intentions, I won’t keep to it. So instead I am going to identify certain foods that I eat regularly which are straight up not good for me and I going to eliminate them from my diet one by one.

I eat a fairly balanced diet I think, but I over indulge in a couple of day news foods. The first one that is going to go is potato chips. Those things are like crack for me. I have been eating them every day with my lunch now for at least the last nine months and they are doing me no good.  Plus, there is no good reason; it isn’t like we’re talking about some other indulgence like fine dark chocolate, or even an excellent cake, which can on occasion be worth the empty calories. Chips are just chips. They are never going to be that good, and they’re never going to help me get faster, so, starting today, they’re done. The goal the is to make it through the next ten days without having any. Once I hit ten days, I will add another food that needs to be out of my diet.

So that’s one of my diet downfalls. What are yours?

Chips are just chips! Next thing you know you’ll be trying to convince people pizza is just pizza or Chimay is just beer. You’ll probably push Obama to nationalize the chip companies… and they never need a bailout. What if GM made cars as g ood as chips!

beer….teaspoon of sugar in my coffee, that is the big one, i am one teaspoon away from eliminating sugar from my diet.

I am so glad I don’t need sugar in my coffee… however I do need ice cream in my life.

and beer, dude, beer is not a diet downfall, it is the stuff of life.

beer kills along with pizza. I have gone off the deep end and am hitting the pure paleo for two weeks. I recommend you d it to if you want to drop fat. it melts off, no lack of energy. Post workout nutrition is key, that is the tie to load up on carbs (healthy ones from yams, and fruit) balanced with some protein and no fat. seriously you should try it.
