Training Totals for the Week Ending 5 17 09
Recap – This week was dominated by two things – getting injured (again) and graduating from law school. This injury which occurred on Wednesday and really sucked coupled with the fact that graduation festivities kept me from getting to the gym to do any cross training made for a truly subpar training week. None of my goals were met and my mileage was pathetic. The only good thing I can say about this week is my asscheek is feeling better after having rested it for four days and I think unless something drastic happens I will be back running tomorrow.
However, I’m going to try and not be stupid about this, and will scaling back the mileage a little bit. It is going to take longer than I had hoped to reach thirty miles per week, but that’s alright, I will get there. Eventually.

1. Continue to ice and stretch to prevent recurrence of PF – DONE
2. Buy cheap run watch – DONE (sorta, my sisters got me an awesome one for graduation)

4. Develop and write realistic cross training plan for the next six weeks. – FAILED
5. maintain crosstraining and body weight work – FAILED
Next Week’s Goals:
1. Pay attention to ITBS injury and plan runs accordingly
2. Barring injury problems, ride bike to work twice
3. Develop schedule for summer cross training
* A note on the times. I am using my standard wristwatch for this, hence, no seconds. I’ll probably treat myself to a running watch eventually.
