Someone sent me a list of things you shouldn’t tweet. Number three on the list is “Your workouts”. Well, whatever. This year, I am trying to take my exercise regime up a notch and plan to work out every day. I know most people think this is a bad idea, that the body needs rest, blah blah blah, but when I went through a period in law school in which I worked out every day for a month, I felt great.
Some notes on this project:
1. Obviously, some days will be harder than others. I plan on keeping running at the center of my fitness, and will be using rowing and swimming as active recovery days.
2. I think, having finally, really given my foot some rest that I have put my tendinitis problems behind me. In order to keep my foot healthy, I’ll be sticking to a strict 10 percent increase that means that for the next month or two, I’ll be swimming and rowing a lot, but those sports will diminish as the year goes one.
Anyway, if this for some unknown reason sounds like it would be of interest to you, feel free to follow me on twitter. I’ll also be updating this more with training totals, before and after photos and other fun stuff.
