Below is a dorky report that wordpress created of the traffic statistics on this blog. What I find most interesting is that the most searched terms, month in and month out are Katherine Switzer and Yo Tizer.
As any good runner knows, Katherine Switzer is the first woman to have run the Boston marathon with an official number. The photo of her boyfriend, Tom Miller, pushing Jock Semple while Katherine runs away is one of the most famous images in the history of running. Its no wonder people are interested in her.
What’s fascinating is that people seem so interested in Yo Tizer. Tizer is the leader of an ultra running group called “Divine Madness” that, depending on your viewpoint, is either a cult, or a group of like minded invidivuals. I wrote a short blog post about him and it has garndered a large number of hits. I’ve read everything I can find on Divine Madness and Tizer and with the interest it still seems to generate in the running world, I should probably go ahead and write it all up.
Anyway, here’s the dorky stats thing…
