Yesterday was a good day running wise. I crossed the 500 miles for the year mark last night on an eight mile run in Prospect Park that felt exactly how runs are supposed to feel – effortless and fast. I am reaching this point about a month earlier than I did last year, but I feel that my running hasn’t been all it could have been this winter and early spring. Time to save the year. Time to put my nose to the grindstone.
I also got a great new toy to help me take my running up a notch. My groomsmen got me an awesome Garmin 405. I’ve never had any sort of GPA watch before and am excited to put the thing to use tonight. I am going to start exploring the trails inProspectParkmore and I hope the new watch will help me keep my easy runs easy and my hard runs hard.
Yesterday was a good day, I hope tonight’s run is half as good.
