RECAP: I know you are all waiting with baited breath to find out how the Paleo thing is going. It isn’t. I’ll write a longer post about this tonight or tomorrow, but suffice to say, I couldn’t do it. I don’t know if it was psychological or what, but I had a really hard time focusing at work in the afternoons and my running went to shit. I’m trying now to be a little smart about what I eat, but more importantly for me losing weight, I’m just trying to exercise more.
This wasn’t a bad week for running, but it wasn’t great either. The stupid diet tied together with stupid work commitments meant I only got 32 miles in six runs. That isn’t nothing, but it isn’t what I wanted either. Next week will be better.

Looking Ahead: Not all I wanted out of the week, but I’ll take it. It is time to take my fitness to the next level. Right now, all I want is to get light and build aerobic capacity and (safely) add some mileage. In keep with my new philosophy for these weekly goals, I’m going to try and keep them manageable (I fail too often) while still pushing myself and building towards my long term goals.

- Cardio exercise of at least eight hours
- Physical therapy exercises everyday
