RECAP: Exciting week weather wise in Brooklyn. Last Sunday we had a major snow storm which hosed my running for the first part of the week. The streets weren’t cleared for days, and it was really tough to get out there. I went to the gym one day, and did just one mile the other two other days. When the streets were finally cleared, I was able to rescue the week and meet my mileage goal.
I weighed myself on the first and it wasn’t pretty. All those low mileage weeks have caught up to me and I am currently tipping the scales at 178 pounds. I’d like to be somewhere between 160 and 165 for my fall marathon this year, so I have some work to do on that front.
This coming week I am going to take it up a notch again to forty, and I’m going to get in at least one quality workout.
