Training Totals 5.15.2011

RECAP: Life got ahead of me last week and I missed posting the training totals here. I know, you were very disappointed.

While I haven’t had much time for the internets of late, I have been hitting the roads with regularity and traveling some good distance. This week was my third week over fifty miles, I’m exhausted, but only suffering from the occasional little ache or pain.

This week’s goals are all about breaking things down into manageable parts. This will be the final week in my little self-imposed base building phase. Next week, I’ll restart workouts. I’m stoked to have my mileage where it is and I am ready to add in some much needed speed work.  I am also really committing to getting in the flexibility and strength worth I am craving (and desperately need, my back is super tight right now) and for creeping my total exercise time up towards ten hours a week.
