Friday Inspiration
The return of friday videos to get you excited for weekend long runs. Here is one of Anton Krupicka who long runs are looooong. Like a hundred miles long. Krupicka is definitely a dirty hippie, also a really interesting character. Check him out customizing his shoes to make them more light weight and unobtrusive at…

Running Around the Web
The first in a series occasional posts linking to other things on the web of interest to runners: Anton Krupicka is a crazy man ultra marathoner, he is also a pretty good writer. Here is his write up of not finishing the Leadville One Hundred this year. Worth reading. Krupicka is really into minimal running…

back at blogging
It has been a while since I posted on here. Life got seriously in the way of training and of updating this blog over the last two months. First there was studying for the Bar, then the Bar itself, then catching up at work, and then vacation. My running log shows that my weekly mileage…

Training Totals 6.28.09
RECAP Life is pretty ridiculously busy for me these day. I basically study for the bar, work, and run. Occasionally, I turn on the television to find out that Michael Jackson is still dead. Still, I am proud to say marathon training has stayed on track. I think the busier I am, the more important…

So a lot of people are starting to get ready for a fall marathon, and here is Ryan Hall giving some solid advice about getting the miles in, but not freaking out. You know, if you’re running 5:17 splits, don’t worry about it, just relax…

Help Me Choose My Marathon Plan
So I am trying to come up with a solid marathon plan and have been looking around at various plans online as well as in Hal Higdon’s book. Right now, I am leaning heavily towards the plan on the New York Road Runners site for the “basic marathoner”. I like this program because it has…

Training Totals 6.7.09
RECAP – This was probably the worst week for me since I got seriously back into running. What was so frustrating about it was that it wasn’t because I was injured, but rather because I couldn’t get my schedule together and missed runs for silly reasons. I hate that. On the plus side, my twelve…
