Training Totals 6.7.09

RECAP – This was probably the worst week for me since I got seriously back into running. What was so frustrating about it was that it wasn’t because I was injured, but rather because I couldn’t get my schedule together and missed runs for silly reasons. I hate that. On the plus side, my twelve miler yesterday went very well and at least that’s something. This week, I have high hopes of FINALLY making it to thirty miles. That is a milestone I really, really need to hit.

And of course, cause I am cursed tonight for no good reason I’m having some relatively serious pain in my left ankle and some more pain in my right knee (from bashing the heck out of it today while rock climbing). Hopefully, these will both feel better in the morning.

two days off isn’t bad at all – quite normal actually. the rainy weather didn’t help, and hopefully will hold off in the mornings so you can get your runs in. bring on 30 miles!

I use a concept 2 a little for cross training, not as much as I’d like to, though. After my fall marathon, I am thinking of doing one of the concept two challenges, like row 10,000 meters in a month or something…
